Lovely poem. I can tell what a kind person you are already, just from reading your blog and the comments you posted to my blog. I wish such a poem could be true for me, but my mirror is broken. I see only sadness and pain and unworthiness. Maybe someday I won't be so broken. I will stick around the ACoN blog community for a while and see if I can glue my pieces back together with the help of kind-hearted people like you. Thank you.
Hi Maree, Thank you for the compliment, and I hope that you WILL stick around. There are a lot of people out here in ACoN blogland who have a whole lot of experience with feeling as broken as you do right now. And do you know the one thing that we all have in common? We all get better as we do this work, every single one of us to varying degrees gets better. You can too.
You can find a way to put your mirror back together or, maybe even better yet! - to get a new mirror. Just keep swimming, kiddo.
((Vanci)) Well done. :-)
